About Me

Kirie is an aspiring author, based in the UK. After attending The Winchester Writers’ Conference 2010 and receiving a commendation for a short story, she has dug deep and found enough courage to follow her dream to become a fully fledged writer.

Her passion for books and writing became ignited by her Grandfather. After reading her first Stephen King book at age seven (Ladybird books regularly provided by her Mother prior to this) it only added fuel to the fire of her love of words. From that day forward she was never without a tasty tome to feast on, or a notebook and pen in her hand.

Kirie is currently working on her first YA fantasy romance novel, Dreme Guardian, which she is hoping to have edited and sent out to agents by the end of January 2011.

Kirie is also the creator and author of a new blog (still a work in progress) and collection of short stories titled, VAMPOLICE. She loves writing bad poetry & flash fiction.

You can normally find her floating around on The Word Cloud or Twitting about on Twitter.
