I recently blogged about a very good (cloudy) friend of mine and the release of his forthcoming biography of Wellesley Tudor Pole, an extraordinary English gentleman.

SEE – Author Interview with Gerry Fenge.

Well, he’s only gone and done it, by jove! The book is printed & delivered & ready for purchase.

The book is available for order on Amazon (see link details below).

I am so proud of Gerry. I’m sure that all aspiring authors will join me in congratulating him on his first (of many) published work.

A proud Gerry receiving his first batch of books (FREE from his very generous publisher!!)

If anyone would like to feature Gerry’s amazing book or contact him for an author interview / feature, please see my previous Author Interview blog or feel free to comment on here and I will pass your details on.

  1. Gerry says:

Wow folks, make sure you are friends with Kirie – she’ll boost you something excellent! (By the way, I see that ‘Possibly Related Posts [automatically generated]’ suggests a kinship with:- Rosie’s Riveters: Carrie and Margaret Pole – a great honour!)

  2. Thanks Gerry. Congratulations again and good luck!

  3. Steve Cooney says:

Dear Gerry Congratulations on your new book. There are some of us who would be interested in the unstreamlined, meticulous version of the book. Is there any chance you will make that available to researchers?

  4. Steve – I have passed your name onto Gerry. Could you please email me your contact information – kirie.hansen@sky.com & I will pass the details on for you.

    Thank you

  5. Gerry says:

Hi Steve, tell me more. I’m fascinated that someone should want the unstreamilned meticulous version of the book before the main version has been out for more than a week. Have you read the main version? (I’d be amazed at your speed if you have – and highly gratified, of course.)
Is there anything in particular you want to know about? Even the ‘unstreamlined meticulous’ version had to be highly selective – or else the word count would have reached a million! (Writing a biography is, obviously, a matter of selecting and editing; someone else might make different selections and edit them differently.)
If you let me know your particular line of research I might be able to dig out something specific to your interests.

  6. Tony Slater says:

Congratulations Gerry! We’re working through The Cloud, slowly all getting published… must be my turn next! Good to meet you at York, Kirie, and good on you for plugging Gerry’s book. For together, we are stronger than something that’s not together or is in bits or something similar. You know, the sum of the whole is greater than the paper it’s written on (which sage words will definitely cheer Gerry, since he has paper and has written on it). Strength in trans-Varcity or whatever. I need say no more.
